Black tooth Brewery

After completing work on Black Tooth Brewery’s Cheyenne location, WGA was recruited to build out the tenant suite within The Nolan building in Casper, Wyoming. The project included coordination of the brewery equipment including a water filtration system, boiler, grain mill with auger system, grist case, brew house, fermenters, and bright tanks- all left exposed to engage the patrons with the brewery process. It was our goal to create a sense of continuity and brand recognition between the Cheyenne and Casper locations, while also maintaining the ambiance of Black Tooth’s original location in Sheridan.

As with their other locations, the brewery has made its home within an adapted historic building and pays homage to the history contained in the building’s past. A re-purposed shipping container similar to the Cheyenne location creates the perfect home for the seasonal patio bar while the operable exterior walls let the outside in when holding large outdoor events. Some original elements introduced to this location include the bold tile surrounding the central bar, selected to mimic the shape of the brewery’s logo and custom-colored to blend with Black Tooth’s iconic orange. The wood paneled wall and ceiling feature integrates Black Tooth’s slogan “Drink the West,” and the custom designed industrial light fixtures reinforce the Western vernacular while creating a distinctive experience separate from its sister locations.
